The client I was assigned was Wexner Center for the Arts which is The Ohio State University’s multidisciplinary, international laboratory for the exploration and advancement of contemporary art. Each fall, the Wex hosts a free event called the Wex Wide Open that offers a wide range of programming in all areas of the center to welcome new students to campus and introduce them to the arts. I was tasked with creating a permanent set of wayfinding symbols to help educate and guide visitors for this and future events. The refrent categories cover the wide range of multidiscipinary programs that the center offers including, exhibition galleries, film’video program, performing arts: dance, performing arts: music, performing arts: theater, artist talks + lectures, heirloom cafe, and the wex stor
